Jackie Dawson, RYT
Owner & Founder, At Ease Yoga
My journey with yoga began during a season when I looked like I was holding everything together on the outside, but felt overwhelmed, anxious, and disconnected on the inside. What started as a physical practice became something much deeper, a place where I could breathe again, soften, and slowly find my way back to myself. That experience changed the course of my life, and it is the reason At Ease Yoga exists today.
As the founder of At Ease Yoga, my hope is to create a space where every person feels genuinely welcomed, supported, and seen. I believe yoga is for every body, every age, every experience level, and every season of life. If you're breathing, you belong here.
My teaching is rooted in soul nurturing yoga, nervous system regulation, mindful movement, breathwork, and compassion. I strive to offer practices that meet you exactly where you are, whether you're seeking strength, healing, stress relief, recovery, or simply a quiet hour to reconnect with yourself. My classes emphasize curiosity over perfection, presence over performance, and honoring your own body's wisdom.
Although I am a teacher, I will always be a student first. I continue to deepen my education through ongoing study in yoga, somatic, trauma-informed practices, and the many ways movement can support healing and resilience. Every training and every class reminds me that yoga isn't about becoming someone different, it's about remembering who we've been all along.
When I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and our two daughters, continuing my own practice, learning something new, or dreaming up ways to make At Ease Yoga feel even more like home.
It is truly an honor to share this practice with you, and I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey toward greater ease, on the mat and beyond.
